This video, part of the Awesome children's video series, gives kids a behind-the-scenes look at many of the machines used for road construction. They will get up-close to bulldozers, jackhammers, cement trucks, payloaders, backhoes, and road graders. In addition to a close look at the machines themselves, children will find out about what it takes to operate such massive pieces of equipment. They will find out how each machine works, what each one does, and what it takes to operate each piece of equipment. This video also gives kids a tour of an actual road construction site, where work is being done using all of the machinery described during the program.
