Synopsis by Hal Erickson
British actress Isobel Elsom, whose screen career spanned five decades, plays the young heroine in Aunt Rachel. She is not Rachel, however: that role was reserved for Haidee Wright. Embittered over losing her lover to another, Aunt Rachel is determined that her niece (Elsom) will likewise never find happiness. Thus, Auntie does everything she can to destroy her niece's romance with a deserving young man. Aunt Rachel was adapted for the screen by Hugh Conway, from his own novel.
