Originally aired on PBS, this program features Emmy Award-winning Olympic documentarian Bud Greenspan's paean to the athletes at the 1996 Olympic Games in Atlanta. The revered Greenspan, who has filmed the Olympics for over 40 years, gains unparalleled "backstage" access to the games, capturing priceless moments in the lives of the world's greatest physical specimens. Among the athletes appearing in the video are track greats Carl Lewis, Michael Johnson, Jackie Joyner-Kersee, and Inger Miller; Turkish weightlifting champ Naim Suleymanoglu; Ireland's swimming sensation Michelle Smith; England's multi-gold medalist in rowing, Steven Redgrave; and Swiss gymnast Donghua Li.
