Synopsis by Hal Erickson

Biograph's At the Monkey House was filmed on location at the Central Park Zoo. After a panoramic view of the entire zoo, the story proper begins as a young woman and a small boy (possibly her son, possibly her kid brother) enjoy the antics of the caged monkeys. A "masher" shows up and tries to put the moves on the woman. His efforts are squelched when a cop shows up to drag him away. Undoubtedly, the glimpses of the zoo were far more fascinating than the fragmentary storyline (at least, they would be interesting if the film could be located today!).
