This film takes an in-depth look at Astor Piazzolla, the undisputed king of the tango and one of the most important musical artists in the history of Argentina. Referred to by many as the man as vital to the tango as Duke Ellington is to jazz, Piazzolla has inspired virtuoso performers from all areas of music, from Yo-Yo Ma to Scottish accordionist James Crabb, many of whom appear here to share their thoughts and music. Also included in the film is information about Piazzolla's personal life and the way that it has affected his relationship with music.
