Synopsis by Hal Erickson
Next to Orders to Kill, Assassination seems to be the most popular all-purpose title for espionage films. The 1967 edition of Assassination was financed in Italy and lensed in Germany. Fred Beir stars as a CIA agent investigating a murder. Muddying the waters are several double agents, whose identities are revealed only when the information can do the least amount of good for the hero. Henry Silva also stars in this James Bond wannabe.
