Synopsis by Phil Griffin
Sixteen year old Lina (Bel Powley) is an aspiring art student living in 1941 amidst Stalin's oppressive regime. When she and her family gets violently deported by the Soviet police to a labor camp in Siberia, she risks her life to bravely document her experience through the art she creates, despite difficult and cruel circumstances.
