Synopsis by Augustine Chay
Japanese director Ryusuke Hamaguchi’s philosophical romance is based on Tomoka Shibasaki's 2010 novel. It stages a love triangle between a young woman (Erika Karata) and two young men with starkly contrasting personalities (both are played by Masahiro Higashide). Unable to clarify her feelings for both of them, she becomes trapped in a confused and indecisive state of mind.
