Synopsis by Jason Buchanan

Legendary pianist Arthur Rubenstein performs the works of Mendelssohn, Liszt, Chopin, and Schubert in this rare film showcasing a true musical talent in top form. After performing Mendelssohn's "Spinning Song", Liszt's "Liebestraum", Chopin's "C# Minor Waltz", and Chopin's "A Major Polonaise" with his band, cameras follow Rubenstein to his home for a performance of five compositions by Chopin, and finally to a rehearsal with soloists Jasha Heifetz and Gregor Piatigorsky in which the trio perform compositions by Schubert and Mendelssohn.
