Synopsis by Clarke Fountain
The visit of Jimmie's childhood friend to his residence in an exclusive section of Istanbul serves to remind him of the ideals he had as a youth and has now thoroughly betrayed. The friend has never played anyone false, and his uprightness is fascinating to Jimmie's wife and daughter, also serving as a catalyst for reforming an angry neighborhood youth. The wife is torn between the two men's lifestyles, though there is no hint of unfaithfulness. The daughter, on the other hand, has been waiting all her life for someone like her father's family friend to come along and put things into perspective.
