The Arabs is a ten-part series created to provide an understanding of the ongoing conflicts within the Arab world by offering an honest look at the history, culture, and society influencing Arab life past and present. Arabs speak for themselves to portray a vivid picture and present keen insight into the fabric of their people. Part one, The Arabs: The Making of the Arabs, offers an introduction to the Arab world and is hosted Basim Musallam. Stretching from Morocco to the Arabian Peninsula, the Valley of the Nile to the Easter Mediterranean shores, this region is rich in history, culture, and diversity. Program highlights a look at the early elements shaping Arab character and identity.
