Scheherazade (Crista Alfaiate) continues to tell stories in order to stay alive in the third and final film of Miguel Gomes' epic about the lives of ordinary people in contemporary, austerity-stricken Portugal. Among the tales: The Grand Vizier fears for Scheherazade's life, bird trappers train their pets for a singing competition, and a Chinese girl travels to Portugal.
