Synopsis by Hal Erickson
Originally released in Argentina as Otra Historia de Amor, Another Love Story lives up to its title by applying the standard romance-film cliches to a gay relationship. Arturo Bonin plays a middle-aged businessman, mired in an unhappy marriage. Mario Passick portrays a young man who, upon joining Bonin's firm, almost immediately suggests to the older man that they inaugurate an affair. At first mildly shocked, Bonin discovers that he finds the relationship to his liking. Though they try to keep their love a secret, Bonin and Passick are exposed by a snoopy secretary. Passick is immediately fired, while Bonin is transferred to an overseas office. Disconsolately heading to the airport to watch his lover's plane depart, Passick is overjoyed to discover that Bonin has decided to remain in Argentina after all.
