This video, directed by Franco Zeffirelli, presents the inimitable Anna Russell in a live performance at Baltimore's Museum of Art in November 1984. Ms. Russell has been delighting audiences for years with her unique style of operatic parody. In this program, the soprano brings her gift for comedy to bear on a number of opera classics, including Wagner's Ring Cycle, which she performs in ten minutes.
