The Bolshoi Ballet mounts this 1979 production of Rodion Shchedrin's Anna Karenina, which Shchedrin adapted, in turn, from the 1877 novel by Leo Tolstoy. It co-stars Maya Plisetskaya and Alexander Godunov, with choreography by Plisetskaya.
