Synopsis by Robert Firsching

Greek filmmaker Panos Glykofridis directed this drama about a mother's devotion to her children. Told in flashback as the family waits outside a prison for the release of her middle son Achilleas (Lefteris Vournas), the film concerns the struggles of Mrs. Lena (Eleni Zafirou), a widow who works cleaning electric cars and serving as a maid in wealthy houses to support her three boys. Achilleas begins dating the daughter of one of his mother's employers and accidentally kills her in the course of a violent argument. Mrs. Lena's devotion to Achilleas is so great that she is willing to take the blame for the girl's death in order to save him, but his older brother Kostas (Errikos Briolas) won't stand for it, and Achilleas eventually agrees to turn himself in. Meanwhile, Mrs. Lena's youngest son Lefteris has had to marry his girlfriend when she became pregnant, and they join the family with their young son to await Achilleas' release. Mary Chronopoulou co-stars with Katerina Gogou, Nikos Fermas, and Kostas Papachristos.
