This upbeat yoga program for four- to ten-year-olds mixes animation with live action for an interactive African exercise adventure. Creator Bobbi Hamilton also plays the part of Wasabi, who along with pal Lil Chi leads young viewers through a fun workout on the African plains. Intended as a method for combating obesity, asthma, diabetes, and stress, the program teaches kids the basics of yoga movement while promoting the tenets of self-esteem and non-violence. Elements of urban dance and invigorating music combined with techniques for breathing, proper body alignment, relaxation, and safety create a program that helps enhance overall fitness and well-being.
