A visit to the rain forests of Yucatan to study the jaguar, largest of all American cats. Mothers are seen instructing their young in encounters with a capybara (an immense rodent), a boa constrictor and a coatimundi. Because jaguars are nocturnal hunters, the mother cat and kittens in this show are domesticated stand-ins. Host: Bill Burrud.
