Synopsis by Robert Firsching
Teresa Woo took over the directorial duties for this first sequel to the highly successful 1987 "Girls With Guns" film Angel. Moon Lee and Elaine Lui return as Moon and Elaine, the beautiful and lethal female agents for Angel International, and Alex Fong is back as American DEA agent Alex. While vacationing in Malaysia, the trio meets palm-oil tycoon Peter Kam (Nathan Chan), a wealthy philanthropist and an old friend of Alex. What the heroes don't know is that Peter is also the leader of an evil group of rebels planning an armed insurrection against the Malaysian government. Before the vacationing agents learn of the planned fascist coup, Elaine falls in love with Peter, making the eventual order to assassinate him even more difficult to carry out. There's a good deal of jungle combat and the expected showcasing of Ms. Lee's fighting abilities, as well as the introduction of a Malaysian agent named Kharina (Kharina Isa), who returns with Moon and Alex in the following year's Angel III.
