Tokyo is under siege by Red May, a terrorist group looking to disrupt the world economy by upsetting the city that has now become the financial capitol of the world. An elite squad called the Special Security Force (SSF for short) is tasked with taking down Red May by any means necessary, and so they call in Angel, the deadliest woman alive, to fight for their cause. Angel finds strange things when she begins her mission, however...such as elusive members of Red May turning up dead before she gets to them. Subversive forces are moving, casting suspicion on everyone from vigilantes to the unnerving Dr. Ichihara and his human enhancement project. Whoever is killing these Red May members might be doing it to get at someone else. That someone else might be the SSF, or even Angel herself.
