Synopsis by Nathan Southern

Proclaimed as a successor to Luciano Pavarotti, Placido Domingo and Jose Carreras, the blind Tuscan tenor Andrea Bocelli has built a formidable reputation for himself as a towering interpreter of arias, light classical pieces, and pop ballads. In the concert film Andrea Bocelli: Credo - John Paul II, performs a series of arias and hymns live on stage, in one-year commemoration of the death of Pope John Paul II (who passed away on April 2, 2005). The seventeen selections include: "Ave Maria," "Adeste Fideles (O' Come, All Ye Faithful)," and Mozart's Ave Verun Corpus K.618.
