Synopsis by Robert Firsching
Vassilis Vafeas wrote and directed this groundbreaking Greek satire, among the first to explore the relationships between man and technology in the national oeuvre. Minas Hadjissavas stars as a chemist who goes to work for a small family company which -- although it offers a close, personalized working environment -- is too disorganized for his tastes. Next he takes a job at a large corporation, where the cold, impersonal atmosphere detaches him from his scientific passions and turns him into a robot-like supervisor, efficient but filled with self-loathing at what he has become. Nelly Angelidou co-stars with Lefteris Voyatzis and Antonis Antoniou.
