Synopsis by Jennifer Lackman
This documentary looks at Muslim extremists who are waging war against the Pakistani government in order to enact Shariah law and control the education of children. Maulana Aziz, a cleric who supports ISIS and the Taliban, allows the filmmakers to interview him as he attempts to expand his influence in the country and utilize his Red Mosque network to recruit young children to attend Islamic seminaries. Also profiled is Dr. Pervez Hoodbhoy, a nuclear physicist and educational activist who has spoken out against Aziz on behalf of Pakistan's moderate majority. Directed by Hemal Trivedi and Mohammed Naqvi.
