Synopsis by Jonathan Crow

Hong Kong mogul Raymond Wong and Clifton Ko reunite to create this follow up the 1991 smash hit all-star slapstick comedy All's Well, Ends Well. In this go around, itinerant scholar Lam Ka-sing (Wong) has been trying to avoid his wife and her phonemically crude family. While on the lam, he accidentally saves the life of ace swordwomen Jinx (Teresa Mo). Meanwhile, his in-laws Tung (Sam Hui) and Gut (Sandra Ng) tend to their dying mother (played by Ricky Hui in a bit of inventive casting) who refuses all medical treatment until Lam returns home. While all this is going on, beautiful young lass Snow White (Rosamund Kwan) flees her father's controlling household by dressing as a man and venturing into town. While living it up she runs into rakish lad David Copper Feel (groan) (Leslie Cheung) and promptly falls in love. Meanwhile, Snow White's father mistakes Tung for his daughter's lover.
