Director Brett Haley’s romantic drama is an adaptation of Jennifer Niven’s bestselling 2015 young adult novel of the same name. It stars Elle Fanning and Justice Smith who portray two small-town teenagers struggling with their respective mental health issues, yet they find solace, empathy, and romance in each other.
