Synopsis

Alan Watts, the late author, philosopher and interpreter of Eastern religions ("The Way of Zen"), reflects on the relationship between humans and nature in this program taped just before his death in 1973. Watts makes his observations while hiking up Mount Tamalpais just north of the Golden Gate Bridge, and while preparing ceremonial tea at his nearby home.
