In this romantic story set just before the civil war in Lebanon that began in 1975, a Christian woman and Muslim man fall in love in spite of their family, friends, and relatives who are lined up on opposite sides of the political fence. Their romance seems doomed from the start, especially when violence increases as the nation heads toward war.
