Synopsis by Clarke Fountain
This black-and-white Syrian film takes place at the end of the colonial era (the early 20th century), and tells the story of courageous rebel "Al Fahd," or "The Leopard" (Adib Kaddura). Al Fahd fought against the colonial government, and could have lead an early uprising against it, if it were not for the fact that he refused all help. This lone marauder killed many infidel colonial soldiers before he met his death.
