Saara (Tina Lymi) is from a small town in Finland. During a New Year's Eve celebration, she meets Joni (Nicke Lignell), a handsome, long-haired man, and their relationship prospers from there sufficiently for her to move in with him. They have a problem, however. Despite Joni's incredibly strenuous efforts to make an orgasm possible for Saara while they are making love, she is unable to experience one. She also has lesbian sado-masochistic fantasies which disturb her. She makes some effort to come to terms with these obstacles to her relationship with Joni, and gains some understanding when she returns to her home town and has a brief affair with someone else.
