Synopsis by Robert Firsching
Greek filmmaker Sokratis Kapsaskis directed this standard war-romance penned by Nikos Foskolos, who would score a minor triumph with the Romeo and Juliet-inspired Agapi Ke Ema a few years later. This is a somewhat more maudlin affair, with Tassos (Yiannis Fertis) and his buddy, Dimitris (Stefanos Lineos), returning from the front after the German invasion. Tassos has been corresponding with a young woman (Xenia Kaloyeropoulou) for a long time, and is eagerly awaiting their meeting, but isn't prepared for the events which follow. Co-starring Lavrentis Dianellos, who may have played more supporting roles in Greek films than any other actor.
