Synopsis by Hans J. Wollstein

Still a few years away from super stardom, Colleen Moore toiled in this low-budget romantic comedy based on Mary Roberts Rhinehart's 1920 short story about dallying socialites. Attending an "affinity party for neglected spouses," the married Fanny Illington finds herself a castaway with charming Ferd Jackson (Joe Bonner). When she finally makes it back to the mainland, the naughty girl finds that her husband Day (John Bowers) had enjoyed an "affinity party" of his own with Ferd's wife (Grace Gordon). Realizing their errors, Fanny and Day resolve never to attend another "affinity party." Affinities was rather a strange subject for producer-director Ward Lascelles whose portfolio mostly contained cheap Westerns and action melodramas.
