Synopsis by Jonathan Crow

For director Lau Kar-leung's fifth and final installment of this popular comedy-adventure series, female lead Sylvia Chang decided to take a pass. Instead, this film opens with former police detective Albert Au (Karl Maka) and thief with a heart of gold King Kong (Sam Hui Koon-kit) get into a terrible argument while in Thailand and part ways. Fast forward ahead three years when brother and sister burgular team swipe a rare Chinese sword for the Hong Kong triads, pinning the crime on King Kong and Albert. Soon, a Mainland Chinese police inspector known ominously as the Chinese Rambo (Conan Lee) along with a bevy of rival gangs are after the two. Albert and King Kong eventually work through their difference but not before being beaten up and thrown in a Mainland Chinese jail where they are tortured by a guard called the Murderer King (Roy Cheung). Later a gunfight in a warehouse filled with terracotta figures ensues.
