Aardman Animation collects nine short films from Britain's Aardman Studios whose famed animation and production team that has brought the world some of the most interesting and entertaining comic films of the last half-century. Headed by Nick Park, the inventor of the classic duo Wallace and Gromit, Aardman Studios is responsible for, among other things, the Hollywood blockbuster Chicken Run. This anthology of their early works includes two films done solely by Parks, A Close Shave (the second Wallace and Gromit feature) and Creature Comforts, a riotous short composed of complaints by "middle class" animals in British zoos. Both films received Oscars in the category of Best Animated Short in 1996 and 1991, respectively. Also featured in this collection are: Wat's Pig, Early Bird, Ident, Pib &Pog, Rex the Runt, Heat Electric Commercials and My Baby Just Cares for Me.
