Synopsis by Janiss Garza
Mary Boland, who would make a career of playing society women, has her screen debut in this drama. Her character Agnes and her husband George (Sam Hardy) live with her uncle, Nicholas Barable (Lawrence McGill). After making his fortune, the old man retired to the country -- he has the young couple living with him since he wants them to avoid the temptations of the big city. Understandably, Agnes and George are bored, so they finally go to New York where they make a splash in both business and society. George meets up with a scheming woman, and Agnes carries on a flirtation with a European Lord. They have financial struggles. Finally, they reconcile, realizing that living in the country wasn't so bad after all.
