Synopsis by Robert Firsching
Legendary action director Lee Tso Nam directed this grim Hong Kong-Taiwan co-production about a woman's descent into despair. Yun-Ni is an alcoholic who is constantly abused by her husband as well as her various lovers, and she spends most of the film either drunk or crying. Lui La and Ng Choi Lai co-star in this thoroughly depressing melodrama, which bears none of the flourish which fans of the director might expect. Most surprising of all is the fact that this stark drama was advertised as light erotica.
