Synopsis by Janiss Garza

This romantic comedy starred the versatile Taylor Holmes. Dalton Pemberton (Holmes) hates all women and he is disgusted when his aunt's will is read and it insists that he marry a certain girl. He runs away from Buenos Aires to escape this fate and meets up with a pretty girl (Millicent Fisher), whom he falls in love with immediately. Very much a proper young lady, the girl refuses his attempts to get acquainted. Pemberton persists, however, and follows her on the boat she is taking back to New York. Unfortunately, he leaves his pocketbook and checkbook behind, and when the ship's crew finds him penniless he is put to work. When he tries to escape through one of the portholes, he lands in jail. With the help of a couple of fellow inmates, he breaks out. His newfound friends, however, are planning to rob a mansion, which turns out to be the home of the girl he loves. He beats up the crooks and is recognized by the girl...who turns out to be the one his aunt wanted him to marry in the first place.
