A former prostitute and her reformed convict boyfriend try to make a new start in life in this Mediterranean melodrama. They begin to refurbish a derelict building close to the sea, but people from their past come back to haunt them. He is tracked down by a vicious loan shark, while the woman's former pimp tries to take her back.
