Synopsis by Mark Deming

Maynard James Keenan, frontman of the metallic art-rock band A Perfect Circle, is a big fan of the deliberately over-the-top internet comedy series Bikini Bandits, so when it came time for the band to make a music video of their song "The Outsider," Keenan got the idea of bringing in Bikini Bandits creator Steven Grasse to direct an episode based around the song. A Perfect Circle's record company, however, was less than enthusiastic with the results, and the version that was distributed to television received a severe re-edit. A Perfect Circle: Lost in the Bermuda Triangle features the complete Bikini Bandits video as originally envisioned by Keenan and Grasse, uncut and uncensored, as well as several other Bikini Bandits frivolity and a preview of Bikini Bandits Save Christmas, featuring a cameo by Keenan as a certain jolly old elf.
