Synopsis by Hal Erickson
A Los Cuatro Vientos (To the Four Winds) is a showcase for the musical talents of Mexican tenor Miguel Aceves Mejia and singer-dancer Rosita Quintana. The plot is the usual mixture: a group of aspiring entertainers take all sorts of odd jobs, ever hoping for the Big Break. Quintana is especially amusing as a fiery brunette whose temperament keeps getting in her way. Despite the classical training of the two principals, both are called upon to sing "ranch" and "rural" ditties, usually with a measure of success. A Los Cuatro Vientos was written and directed by Adolfo Fernandez Bustamante, chief of the Mexico City amusements department.
