Synopsis by Olivia Cantor
Ichiko (Mariko Tsutsui) works as a home-care nurse for the elderly artist named Toko Oishi (Hisako Ohkata), and his family has always treated her as part of their own. In particular, his granddaughter Motoko (Mikako Ichikawa) feels a strong affinity for the nurse as she opens up to her more freely than to any of her family members. But when Ichiko’s nephew Tatsuo (Ren Sudo) kidnaps Motoko’s younger sister Saki (Miyu Ogawa), things change in Ichiko’s once peaceful existence. Directed by Koji Fukada.
