Synopsis by Violet LeVoit

A documentary about the improbable story of Dawa, an illiterate yak herder in Tibet, who, after a series of inexplicable visions, mysteriously gained the ability to sing the epic tale of King Gesar in its entirety, and how this uncanny ability has earned him favor with China, but has also awakened an awareness of Tibet's environmental responsibilities in the wake of a devastating earthquake.
