Synopsis by Brian Whitener

In this 1931 short, two men go to great length to ensure that their wives are not cheating on them. Sparing no expense and going to any extreme, the men hire, not one, but three private eyes to spy on the wives. The bungling of the dicks provides the film's slight humor. In the end, both men realize their wives are faithful and all's well that ends well. While neither compelling as art or story, A Co-Respondent's Course does have the distinction of being the first narrative sound film released in Australia.
