Synopsis by Clarke Fountain
On New Year's Eve, three labworkers have agreed to spend a night on the town together. Two are men, one is a woman, and they intend to blow off steam from a year's worth of hard, difficult work. There are also a year's worth of buried grievances to cope with. They are joined in their alcoholic celebrations by the wife of one of the men and two women who happen along. As they grow progressively less inhibited, the bitterness that they have held inside them comes out in a stream of insults and accusations. However, at some course during the proceedings, despite their sore feelings towards one another, they are reunited by their indignation that an outsider with no knowledge of their work has been appointed to head their section of the chemical plant.
