5B is a documentary film that tells the story of the nurses, caregivers, and patients designated to the first AIDS ward unit in the United States. In the early years of AIDS epidemic, San Francisco General Hospital had a specialized ward on the fifth floor, becoming the first hospital in the country assigned to tend to AIDS patients. Directed by Paul Haggis and Dan Krauss.
