Synopsis by Jason Buchanan
First time feature filmmaker Patxi Amezcua takes the helm for this taut thriller about a car thief and an ex-boxer-turned-mob debt collector who hatch a daring plan to break free from the criminal underworld in Barcelona, Spain. Kay (Aida Folch) isn't a thief by nature, but she does what she needs to in order to survive. She lives with her father Serbas (Manuel Moron), a degenerate gambler with a predilection toward get-rich-quick schemes, and longs for the day she can move out of his filthy apartment. When Key gets caught in a tight jam, mafia heavy Abel (Francesco Garrido) lends her a helping hand. There's an instant attraction between the two desperate souls, so when Serbas hatches a plan to fleece crooked cop Garro (Joan Massotkleiner) of €300,000, Kay asks Abel to get involved in hopes that the money will give them the freedom to leave Barcelona and never look back.
