Vivian Lee (Paris Berelc), also known as V, is a master esports player committed to her gaming career as part of The Betas varsity team. Unfortunately, the sexist male gamers on her team spend all day bullying her, and eventually, she quits the team. With a college scholarship on the line, V decides to form a new varsity team, the 8-Bits. The all-girl team finds all the guidance they need from their professor, Parker (Ruby Rose). Driven by the need for revenge and justice, the 8-Bits must work hard to beat The Betas and reach nationals.
