Charming, misguided delinquent Jack gets in trouble again just before Christmas. His probation officer gives Jack a community service task he hopes will bring about an attitude change in Jack -- help clean up a local animal shelter that will soon be closing. The longer Jack is around the homeless dogs, the more he sees how much he has in common with them. With only 12 days left to go, Jack sets out on a holiday mission in order to find permanent families for all 12 of the most unwanted pups.
