Biography by AllMovie

A child model from the age of six months, Yvette Duguay's parents brought her to Hollywood when she was two and, at 12, she played Maria Montez as a child in Ali Baba and the Forty Thieves (1943). The exotic-looking child actress, who later took to spelling her name Dugay, proved one of the few to also enjoy an adult career. She co-starred with Vince Edwards as Minnehaha in Hiawatha (1952) and was an Indian squaw again in Cattle Queen of Montana (1954), her most visible performance due to its public domain status. Dugay seemed to leave performing behind following a 1960 episode of television's Cheyenne.
