Serving for more than three decades as ABC Radio Networks' news radio anchorman, Tim O'Donnell delivered the news in an informative and familiar manner.

Born in Middleton, OH, O'Donnell was hired at ABC a mere two days after the assassination of Martin Luther King Jr. and quickly became the voice that gained recognition and covered major news stories, right up to the 2000 Presidential election Florida re-count controversy. His film work consisted of only one role, that of an official in the 1986 hockey comedy Touch and Go; O'Donnell found his true calling in delivering the news. Suffering a heart attack on December 5, 2000, O'Donnell was taken to Valley Hospital in Ridgewood, NJ, where he died on December 13, at the age of 57.
