Richard S. Stark is best remembered as an announcer on a number of famed radio and television shows. In the latter, his voice could be heard on The Perry Como Show, Fireside Theatre, and What's My Line? Born and raised in Grand Rapids, MI, he started out in 1916 as a silent film actor. Around 1921, he attended Cornell University. Upon graduation, he entered radio and worked in that medium until 1949. A long-time member of the Marine Corps reserve, Stark was involved in both WWII and Vietnam. In 1957, he earned a degree in architecture from the Pratt Institute.
